I loved shooting this wedding last weekend! Ashley and Stephen were so sweet, relaxed, and fun and their whole day was really quite lovely. I totally dig the light suits and blue and brown colors (if you remember the old lauren b. logo and colors, I'm a blue and brown fan). The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was perfect and the beautiful flowers were by Christine's Floral Touch. And what luck - storms were forecast ALL day (being at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, being outdoors is key) but they held out all the way until we were packing up to leave. Whew! Anyway, these two were so wonderful - I wish them all the absolute best - so glad they decided to get married in MN! Congrats!

Mike & Leah | Minneapolis Portrait Photographer
I had a blast walking around Uptown with Mike and Leah, two great friends of mine. We scooted around and I took this awesome opportunity to practice what I'd learned at the workshop in Boston. Thank you Jerry! Whew, these are so fun - and gotta love the one of Tim and I at the end! He's so good at coming along for the ride (patience is a virtue, right?). :)

Headshots in NY | Tim & Shad
After the truly amazing 5-day workshop studying under Jerry Ghionis (one of world's top 10 wedding photographers) in Boston early this month, I met up with Tim and we scooted on down to New York for a bit. It was lovely. We slept in (well, Tim did), ate A LOT, and did fun things, like meet Shad & Theresa, Tim's totally-awesome friends from way back in high school. (Love them!) Wanting to practice some techniques I had just learned, and because Shad's a NY actor and Tim a Mpls one, we headed out to take some head shots. So fun!
And then there's the one of Tim and I: sweaty, tired, and happy. Thanks Shad for your photo-ing skills. :)

David is 2! | MInneapolis Children's Photographer
I had the opportunity to photograph David's sister, Liza a month or so ago. Now it's David turn. We ran around the yard playing with bubbles, balls, balloons, and as a grand finale, the sprinkler! It was a hot morning, but David was on the go. Here are some of the fun action shots we got (with a little special appearance by Liza).
