September 24 | Jen & Pat | Mississippi Dunes

Mississippi Dunes in Cottage Grove was the perfect setting for this crisp, sunny fall day. Jen and Pat were so sweet and so in love! Their outdoor ceremony was a collaboration of music, poetry, and participation from loved ones. How lovely to have your Maid of Honor and Best Man singing and playing a song together - or recite poetry excerpts as readings! An intimate, happy affair, Jen & Pat's wedding was truly a lovely event. I wish you two a long happy life together!

ACO Medal of Honor Ceremony

It was truly an honor to photograph the award ceremony for the American Correctional Officer Intelligence Network. I have so much respect for the profession and learned a lot - for example, it's the second deadliest job. The award recipients - and all attendees, for that matter - were true heroes, through and through.

All the event images can be viewed by logging in here. The ceremony took place at one of my favorite hotels, the Hilton Mpls Bloomington.

September 18 | Aimee & Randy | Heritage Ctr & Lowell Inn

Aimee and Randy's day was so filled with love! You could feel it everywhere - from their guitar player to the nature-based details to the intimate and cheerful ceremony. It was a joy to be a part of the beautiful day! I had the good fortune to know Aimee and her daughter Sadira before being booked as the wedding photographer, so it was so fun to provide photography for friends! The New Richmond Heritage Center in New Richmond, WI was so charming and the Lowell Inn in Stillwater classically elegant - an overall wonderful event! Congrats Aimee & Randy!

September 10 | Angela & Ryan | St. Paul Hotel

Angela & Ryan booked me for their engagement and wedding photography just a few months ago - and I'm so grateful they did. What a lovely couple! I couldn't help but get drawn into the fun of the day - from getting ready at the St. Paul Hotel, to an endearing ceremony at St. Odilia, and back to the hotel for an elegant and romantic reception. On a side note, Angela's father gave one of the most beautiful father-of-the-bride speeches I've ever heard. He credited every member of the family for their hard work and uniqueness. I -unusually- was quite teary-eyed. It's easy to say you love your clients, but these two are a pair that anyone would be lucky to know. Congrats Angela & Ryan, and thank you!
