Wedding & Engagement Books | Midwest Wedding Photography

Two Wedding Books & An Engagement Guest Book
...or Why I've Been So Busy This Winter...

Each one of my wedding collections includes a fine art coffee-table Wedding Book, and I wanted to share a few recent examples.

Why do I include a book and really, really want couples to have one?  Well, 1) so you don't have to make one yourself, 2) so you have a beautiful representation of your wedding day that you can hold in your hands, and 3) so that a work of art that you made possible can be shared and handed down when all the day's excitement has long since passed.

This will likely be your first family heirloom, and it will stand the test of time.

These handmade books are substantial and archival.  Clean, crisp, classic, and simply elegant, it won't fall into the latest design fads, which ebb and flow.  With thick sturdy pages and a flush flat design, you'll be able to re-visit your wedding day year after year.

First is Lara & Brandon's Wedding Book.  It's an 8x12 horizontal design with a "Mystery Glass" cover.  Lara said, "It completely exceeded all my expectations (which were pretty high!).  I couldn't be more thrilled.  Thank you so much for your patience, attention to detail, and incredible eye.  It was so worth every penny!"

Keeping the pages uninterrupted, "lauren b. photography" is subtly stamped onto the back cover.

Steph & Brett's Wedding Book is an 8x12 vertical design.  They choose a classic and elegant black leather cover.

Each one of our wedding collections also includes an Engagement Session.  After the session, many couples choose to order an Engagement Guest Book.  This is a great way to artfully display your engagement images while preserving your guests' signatures and well wishes.  Sized 8x12 with a custom photo cover, Guest Books have hinged lay-flat pages and are designed with intentional white space.

Here is Sarah & Robbie's Guest Book.

Below is the complete custom design for Katelyn & Chris' 8x12 Guest Book. The first image below is their cover, with the right side being the front of the book and wrapping around so the left side completes the back.  Then Page 1 starts on the right side of the book, followed by full page spreads, and ending with the final page on the left side.  These Guest Books are lovely on their own, and become even more special with your guests' personalizations.
